ADEM Elections
Every two years the California Democratic Party has internal party elections that are unlike regular elections because you do NOT automatically get a ballot just by being a registered Democrat. Each assembly district gets to elect 14 delegates in what is called Assembly District Election Meetings or ADEMs. The delegates elected in this process attend the annual CADEM convention and get to vote on things like the party platform, officers, and endorsements.
Humboldt Progressive Democrats is committed to getting progressive delegates elected to these positions in order to push the party towards more progressive positions and leadership.

Our Monthly Meetings
We meet virtually on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6pm. Members are sent a link to our zoom session. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, but to become a voting member you must be a registered Democrat in Humboldt County.
